Island War is a multiplayer browser game, in which each player has an island to protect. To build the island, the player must use resources collected throughout the game. To arm the soldiers, the player must access an army of various types of soldiers. The game has been in Season 8. Below you will find information on the newest game modes, upgrades, skills and weapons.
King of the Hill – This game mode focuses on building up your island and controlling the towers until the enemy is taken out. There are several different maps in which this game mode can be played. Once you have done this, you move to the next level, attempting to take out the enemies. King of the Hill game mechanics involve using resources to gain money, which you can then use to buy weapons, troops and other islands.
Endless Island War – This game mode is more of an action-packed video game. In this game, you must strategically think of strategies to conquer your island. This mode has several different game mechanics, which provide different levels of excitement. When playing in Endless Island War, each player controls one island, and must try to destroy the other players island with strategic bombing, while protecting their own island from being taken by the enemy. You must build up your island, and protect it from being destroyed by bombs.
City Hall – Playing in Island War in the City Hall game mode, you must deploy troops onto your opponent’s island, while protecting yours with cannons. Once all of your troops are killed, you must defend your island using a series of catapults, cannons and other structures. The objective of this mode is to get all of your troops to the city hall before your opponent. Once there, you must defend it using cannons and other structures while preventing the enemy from getting there. If the city hall is destroyed, your opponents are free to attack any of your islands that are still unoccupied. However, if you successfully defend the city hall, you will be given a point, and you move on to the next stage.
Gems & Coins – In Island War, gems and coins fall from the sky. They can be collected by using trees, buildings and other structures found around your island. Once they are collected, you can build structures that can collect additional gems and coins. The more gems and coins you have collected during the course of the game, the more powerful you become. Additionally, once you have collected enough gems and coins to purchase structures on your island, you can activate battle passes.
Battle Pass – Using a battle pass will instantly make you stronger. If you activate a battle pass while you are at the city hall, it will send you and all of your troops to the battle field. Once there, you and your troops fight against all of the units in the opposing team until one of them is defeated. However, if your troops defeat the same unit more than once, you move forward in the game.
City Hall – Once you have moved to the next level of Island War, you will be tasked with defending the city hall against waves of attacking troops. Once the city hall is taken by the enemy, you must save it by making use of your structures available to you. The more structures you make to keep the city hall secure, the more troops you can send to the battle to help your troops. At the end of the game, the winning player is the one who has saved the city. You can also earn additional gems and coins as you win the game.
City Hall – Once the city hall has been taken by the enemy, you and your troops will be sent to its defense. Again, you must make use of structures to block off the entrance to the city hall. If you successfully defend the entrance to the city hall, your troops are granted safe passage. However, if you fail, your troops are killed and you must begin the entire process again. Therefore, winning the battle is often a multi-step process where you need to consider your options wisely and make the right move at the right time.
